Troika Dialog, the leading Russian independent investment bank, took first place in many categories in the prestigious Thomson Reuters Extel Pan-Europe 2010 Survey, retaining the top position in Russia for the second consecutive year.
In particular, Troika Dialog achieved "Leading Brokerage Firm" in Russia for the second consecutive year, while the company's analysts completed a clean sweep of the top three positions as best research analysts on the Russian market, led by oil and gas specialist Oleg Maximov who took first place, metals and chemicals specialist Mikhail Stiskin who came second and Chief Strategist Kingsmill Bond who took third position. An impressive six analysts from Troika Dialog appeared in this year's Top Ten ranking of leading analysts including metals and mining analyst Sergei Donskoi, Andrew Keeley covering banking and Chief Economist Evgeny Gavrilenkov.
Additionally, Troika Dialog attained 7th position in the pan-emerging Europe award, rising from 13th place last year. In specific sector categories, Troika Dialog was named number one across several categories for both Russian specific sectors and for European Emerging Markets Research: for Economics and Macro, with Evgeny Gavrilenkov taking the premier position for an individual; for Equity Strategy where Kingsmill Bond achieved the top individual spot; for Metals & Mining, with Mikhail Stiskin and Sergei Donskoi taking first and second place respectively; in the Oil & Gas sector with the top individual spot occupied by Oleg Maximov; and for Consumer & Retail and Trading & Execution, in which Victoria Sokolova and Angelina Strelkova were placed first and third, respectively.

The Thomson Reuters Extel accolade comes a week after Troika Dialog was named Best Russian Research Team in the Institutional Investor All Russia Research Survey. In addition, four of Troika Dialog's leading research analysts were awarded first place in their respective areas of coverage.
