NAUFOR named Troika Dialog Company of the Year
Troika Dialog has emerged winner of the Securities Market Elite 2006 contest organized by NAUFOR (the National Association of Securities Market Participants), getting awards in three nominations at once. The Troika Dialog received the main contest prize, Company of the Year. Apart from that, the company won in the nominations Best Trading Desk and Best Equity House.
The contest organizing committee specially highlighted the contribution to the development of the securities market by Ruben Vardanian, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Troika Dialog Group.
The ceremony of awards presentation for the winners took place on 23rd May 2007.
The contest winners were identified by the National Jury, which incorporates representatives of government agencies, self-regulated organizations, financial institutions, and the mass media. The Jury members are well-known on Russia's stock market and have an authoritative reputation among professional participants in the securities market. Altogether, the contest is conducted in 16 nominations. The nominees were chosen according to the results of a survey of professional participants in the securities market.
This time, Troika Dialog has won in the Securities Market Elite national contest for the sixth time in a row. The company has several times been named the best on the market (Best Investment Banker of the Year in 2004, and Company of the Year in 2002 and 2001). NAUFOR repeatedly awarded Troika Dialog's accomplishments in key areas of the company's operation, like securities sales and trading (Best Equity House, and Best Trader in 2005 and 2003), and asset management (Best Asset Manager in 2005 and 2003).
The chief objective of the Securitites Market Elite contest is popularization of the stock market, focusing public attention on it, and encouraging its participants to enhance their professional level. The contest through its history has by right won recognition amongst the professional community. This year, the National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR) conducted the Securities Market Elite contest for the seventh time.
