The centrepiece of the event was a discussion on the topic “Technology in the Oil and Gas Industry: Today and Tomorrow”, which was moderated by Ruslan Yunusov, CEO of the Russian Quantum Centre. Key speakers shared their vision of the advantages created by a synergy of modern technology and the oil and gas industry: representatives of Gazprom Neft, SkolTech, the Russian Quantum Centre, and MSU’s Science Park.

Sergey Babayan, Vice President of Sberbank and Head of Sberbank CIB’s Largest Client Coverage Department, commented: “The topic that we chose to discuss at our business breakfast was Digital Oil. We focused not only on new technology, but also key trends for the sector and examples of economies built on new principles. Sberbank’s main aim is to be a partner as well as a bank for clients, and also, in some cases, a guide to the world of new ideas and technology. Our clients and guests noted the relevance of the issues that were covered by the event, and we are certain that these sorts of seminars will become a regular venue for sharing knowledge and exchanging opinions.”
