Troika Dialog Group has once again reinforced its reputation as the best employer in the financial services industry. For a second year in a row, the company has won the ‘HR-Brand of the Year’ prize, judged on the most successful development of a company’s reputation as an employer. Troika Dialog won in the ‘Finance’ category for 2007. In addition, the company has won the grand-prix for the best strategy and development of HR-Branding. Troika Dialog was awarded the ‘HR-Brand 2006’ prize last year in the ‘Finance and Insurance’ category.
The award is for recognition of the most successful HR-projects in the field of building up a corporate culture and reputation management. In 2007, Troika Dialog entered the competition with its orientation program system for new employees, known as ‘Surpass dreams’.
According to Nina Mirel, HR Director at Troika Dialog, orientation programs exist in almost every large company, but Troika Dialog was one of the first companies on the market to create an orientation program which is attractive and interesting for its listeners. ‘We have tried to make our orientation program not only rich in information, but also easy to take in. To do that, we use an unusual presentation format, as well as ‘making dreams come true’ for some of our employees. It’s always a nice surprise,’ she explains. ‘Furthermore, the orientation program is not just about getting to know the company, it also gives employees the opportunity to speak to key managers and Troika Dialog Partners in an informal environment, to ask any questions and get answers from first hand sources. This open dialogue allows those at the program to get a feeling for the customary way we act towards each other in the company, which is very important.’
‘Every employer tries to attract the best professionals, however, employees’ values, as well as their knowledge and skills are also important to us. I think that the reason we are so successful is that the people who work at Troika Dialog are enthusiastic in every way – towards their work, to those around them, to the society they live in and to their country. That branding and recruitment experts acknowledge our HR-model confirms that we have chosen the right strategy,’ remarked Gor Nakhapetyan, Managing Director, Troika Dialog Group.
The ‘HR-Brand of the Year’ prize is awarded in 19 professional lines of business and recognises achievements in building up HR-brands and the development of a corporate culture in many areas of the Russian economy. The list of prize winners is available at http://hrbrand.ru/news/new_6.php.
