Troika Dialog Strengthens Position as Leading Russian Research Services Provider

11 Troika Analysts Recognised as Top Advisors in Annual Investor Rankings

Troika Dialog, Russias largest and oldest private investment bank, was recently honoured as a leading brokerage firm in Thomson Reuters Extel Survey 2008. The bank was recognised as a leader in several Russian market sectors, including Consumer, Economics & Macro, Equity Sales, Equity Strategy, Oil & Gas, Trading & Execution and Utilities. Troika analysts were also recently named among the top equity advisors on the Russian market by the Institutional Investors 2008 All-Russia Research Team.

The bank ranked second overall in Institutional Investors fifth annual survey a dramatic improvement from its fourth place ranking in 2007 with 11 individual Troika Dialog analysts placing in the First, Second and Third Team in each of the 12 categories. This is nearly double the number analysts placed in 2007. Evgeny Gavrilenkov, managing director and chief economist at Troika, was ranked in the First Team of the Economics category, while five Troika analysts were voted into the Second Team in their respective category:
