Sberbank Investment Research, the research division of Sberbank CIB (Sberbank’s investment banking business) and Sberbank Asset Management have achieved leading positions in the Russia category of Extel Survey 2017.
Sberbank Investment Research, one of the most experienced analytical teams in Russia and the CIS, has been voted Russia’s leading brokerage firm. The team was also voted leading brokerage firm across three further categories: Securities Trading, Equity Strategy, and Oil & Gas. In addition, Sberbank Investment Research’s analysts took two first place positions: Andrey Kuznetsov, Equity Strategy and Alex Fak, Oil & Gas. Overall the team took key positions in nine categories.
For the fourth year in a row, Sberbank Asset Management has been named Best AM Company in the Russia category. In addition, the company’s analysts Alexandra Falkova, Elena Tsareva and Roman Reshetnev took first, second, and third place, respectively, in the list of Russia’s top ten AM market analysts. In total four representatives of Sberbank AM were featured in the top half of this list, with Maxim Kondratiev taking fifth place, thereby marking his fourth consecutive year in the list. A total of eight of the company’s analysts were included in the ranking.
