Sberbank CIB named The Bankers Most Innovative Investment Bank in CEE region 2018



  • The Banker has given this award to Sberbank CIB for the third time.
  • Sberbank CIB’s products and solutions involving structural, geographical and technological innovation were put forward for the nomination.

Sberbank CIB1, the corporate and investment banking business of Sberbank, announces that it has been awarded the title of Most Innovative Investment Bank in Central and Eastern Europe in The Banker magazine’s 2018 Investment Banking Awards. The annual awards, which are granted by a judging panel of top industry experts, look to highlight excellence and innovation in the investment banking field globally. This is the third time that Sberbank CIB has been recognised for its leadership in this region in investment banking by The Banker, having previously won the award in 2014 and 2016.
